Página nova

Interferometry is the oldest microwave diagnostic technique. It produces a line-integrated measurement of the electronic density by measuring the phase difference of two waves with the same frequency, one traveling through the plasma and the other through a reference path. Single chord interferometers such as in ISTTOK are typically used for density control in many fusion experiments. This measurement technique and its hardware implementation will be addressed in this module. Basic signal processing techniques and a simple Python implementation will be discussed/tried.
