Course on Tomography

Computed tomography is best known for its medical applications. However, it can also be used as a fusion diagnostic in order to determine the plasma radiation profile on a poloidal cross-section of the fusion device. In this session, we will focus on the problem of reconstructing the 2D plasma profile based on sensor readings coming from multiple lines of sight.
